Welcome to the first three-star Superior Hotel Tyrol!
Dear guests!
Since 8 March 2010, we are the first hotel in the Tyrol named as a "three-star superior hotel". The "Superior" we received from the independent hotel Examination Board, which so honours both the beautiful facilities of the house and the efforts of all employees. For us as hosts, it is a great and objective confirmation that our way is right. With joy, we want to be there and help our guest to make your vacation the best time of the year, in summer and winter!
We have improved in recent months.
First, the access road to the main entrance was created and canopied.
"Feel great and equal" - our motto now, even in rain or snow! We have also redesigned the space where you can park your sports equipment. In a spacious foyer, you can now comfortably wear your ski or mountain boots and jump in our house shuttle that takes you in a few minutes to the valley station of the Pitztal lifts.
These little extras will make your holiday with us at Pitztal yet comfortable and relaxing.
Here on our web side, you can browse through our packages and special arrangements for summer and winter holidays. You are sure to find a suitable offer for sports, relaxing or simply a happy holiday in the beautiful Tyrolean Pitztal.
We hope to welcome you in the year 2011 in our house!

What does "Superior" mean?
The certification of hotels in Austria is for an independent, unified system, the "Hotel Stars Union". Three stars is replaced by an operation if it offers its guests a consistent, more facilities with homely character and fine services.
Recently, in every star category, the opportunity to receive the addition of "Superior" is possible. Superior comes from Latin and means "Upper". This is exactly what this "S" means: a top company in its class with a particularly high quality. Whether a hotel of this "S" deserves it or not, is decided by a so-called "Mystery-Check," a rigorous examination by an unannounced, anonymous Commission. In the case of a three-star superior hotel requires a clear "more" of service offerings and services, it stands as a seal of quality for top companies of the upscale category.
