Right hiking:
Hiking is for everybody and all ages. It's healthy if you follow a few rules. The joints are not excessive when hiking claimed, the condition improves, the cardiovascular system and the immune system get strengthened and cholesterol levels and blood sugar lower.
What you should be aware:
It's possible that the weather in the mountains changes fast. Even if the sun is shining in the valley dry wind could blow around your ears at the summit or a thunderstorm might surprise you.
When you go long tours we recommend you to take warm clothes with you and also a raincoat.
Think of reserve clothes too, as you will sweat.
Advantageous are hiking socks and hiking clothes. If you like to go on via ferrata, we warn you for rock fall hazard.

Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking conquered the heart of the Alps!
Nordic Walking - a trend which is established.
A few years ago, the "walker with sticks" were mocked. But now they belong to a sporty region. Already in 1997 Nordic Walking was recognized as the ideal method of training for the summer by long runners. Through the use of sticks, special upper arm muscles get trained, what "usual" walking neglects.
The Nordic Walking Pitztal Region not only offers over 140 km of marked trails in the midst of unspoiled nature, but also a free introductory week by a Nordic Walking trainer.
Everything for the Nordic Walker Innerpitztal:
* 24 marked Nordic Walking routes with a total length of 144.9 kilometers
* Routes 880m to 2,100m above sea level with 1.3 to 11.1 km in length - from flat to mountainous
* Free Nordic Walking map with elevation profile
* Free trial (1 per week) from June to October
* Registration at the reception
The equipment is important!
In addition to the comfortable sports clothing and good shoes (traditional walking, jogging or light hiking shoes; in winter they should be water-resistent), the feather-light sticks (called "sticks") are crucial.
The material of the Nordic Walking poles absorbs vibrations on wrists, elbows and shoulders.
The strap system ensures a tight fit with free blood circulation as well as the optimal position of the hand while walking. You can also use it for stretching and strength exercises. The sturdy and angled top floor meets the ground surface at the proper angle and provides an optimal fit. On hard ground, use an asphalt pad, which offers an additional damping effect on the joints.
Running

The force of the mountains refuels!
Running 95.7 kilometers of marked walking routes is easily possible in the Pitztal region.
This is a real difference to run in the park or for an evening lap "around the block"!
Training in the Innerpitztal and you can combine the best holiday - the unique nature of the Pitztal offers a superb terrain with 12 round courses for ambitious runners, for recreational runners or walkers.
The Pitztal offers:
* 95.7 kilometers of marked walking trails (with km marker) in a beautiful nature
* 12 selected tracks from 880 to 2,300 m above sea level with 2.3 to 17.6 km in length - from flat to hilly and mountainously.

A better name than "Lake" would be silence for this place. "Lake" silence - that is home to the world of the Pitztaler water. About steep cliffs of the falls here Klockelefall in depth, in the midst of a picturesque mountain backdrop promises an idyllic lake with a large lawn and a Kneippanlage complacency at his feet in many variations.
Center of the water world is the arrangement of Kneipp with basins for hands and feet. Sparkling, cool water around your legs stimulates tensely and massages your forearms and hands.
In a separate quiet area with large lawns you can excellently relax.
Changing basins, an info panel with the rules of Kneipp and a refreshing water fountain completes the recreational offerings.
The arrangement for Kneippism thrills our guests from the end of May until the end of September.
