The horse-drawn sleigh rides available in the village are particularly romantic – a highlight for the whole family. For little piste racers, the children's ski school is just 800 meters away, and the practice lift in Mandarfen offers the perfect slope for all beginners.

The winter landscape can also be wonderfully enjoyed off the slopes: The winter hiking trails start right outside the hotel and invite you to take relaxing strolls through the snowy countryside.

Cross-Country Skiing

Right in front of Hotel Gundolf you can access the valley cross-country trail, stretching up to 20 kilometers with several scenic loops. A small fee applies for trail usage, ensuring perfectly groomed tracks for every level of skier.

Snowshoe Hiking & Nature Experience

From the hotel you can set off on wonderful marked snowshoe trails through the quiet, snowy landscape. A very special highlight is the tour into the impressive Taschach Gorge, offering magical winter moments in untouched nature.

Cross-country skiing in Pitztal

The altitude of Mandarfen, at 1,680 m, guarantees ideal cross-country skiing conditions. The high-altitude trails on the Pitztal Glacier at 2,600 m and at Rifflsee at 2,280 m are guaranteed to have snow until late spring. The approximately 70 km of trails will make the heart of every cross-country skier and nature lover beat faster. Two popular examples are the Hubertusloipe, which starts right next to the nature park house at Gachen Blick at 1,500 m, and, a little lower down in the district of Piller, the Fuchsmoosloipe. Use of the trail is subject to a fee.
